It’s also the meaning (yes, the meaning itself is a question) of the name Makayla, a variation of older Michaela, the female version of Michael. Michaela has been on the U.S. charts since the 1960s, but made a big leap when Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman debuted in the early nineties.
