Band on the Diaper Run

Magnolia's version of our new song

Our record will be out on May 20 and it's called "Re-Arrange Us"

And then, we will be on tour

Our children will be traveling with us for most of the tours.

I don't know how it's going to be with 2 kids on the road (June hasn't been on tour yet).  It's all new again, especially because there will be parts of the tour on a bus.  I really wish we could borrow the Dixie Chicks bus-I heard it's fitted for a family.  The only bus I've ever been on tour with had giant airbrushed pictures of a sumo wrestler surfing on the outside, and as you might have guessed, no cribs for babies on the inside.

She is amazing!  Nice!

Can't wait to hear the new album. As it is, my 5 year old knows most of Team Boo, but the best is my 2 1/2 year old son singing "Fluke"...He loves it and crys when it is over.  He calls it #3, you know, track 3. Maybe I can get it on tape and post it here?  Anyway, are you ever coming to Michigan? Please?

With every post on this page I love your music even more. Thank you for opening this window to your world.  My 7 and 5 year old think that the video for "Fraud in the 80's" is better than peanut butter and jelly.  I can't wait for the album!

Huge fan of your music (just recently discovered the band) and I’m so excited that you’re coming to Boston this Saturday.  I will be there for sure!!!  I’m trying to talk the wife into going as well... if not I’ll be the short dude just hanging out alone (we’re talking serious devotion right there).  Either way it will be good times!   I can’t wait to hear the new album!  Brett

Those aren't your only tour dates for the summer, right?

This is a really, really funny way to get a sneak peak at a new song :)

Counting down the days until your new album and when I can stop listening to this barely audible version of "Get Better" on YouTube. Also really looking forward to seeing you in Boston again (your performance at the MFA was amazing). One of the best concerts I've ever been to was in a record store, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's repeated here.

Mates of State

Kori Gardner and Jason Hammel

Kori Gardner is the organ-playing half of the band Mates of State; her husband, Jason Hammel, plays drums. Known for their vocal harmonies and euphoric melodies, Mates of State has been described by critics as "unabashed joy", "honesty at its best", a "two piece with balls", and "a band that you must see live." Their daughter, Magnolia, was born in 2004 and started touring with the band at 10 weeks. June, their second girl, was born early this year. The whole family is touring the world right now.
