Bringing the fancy gold and hot pink bike along was a plus for us since she could ride around the clubs duirng soundcheck, and occasionally venture out onto the city sidewalks. Given the fact that with the amount of sparkle the bike has, Mags even got some compliments from Ms. Santi herself (aka Santogold)
Going from the bus to the smaller vehicles (that we have graduated to) makes us appreciate the ease of having the bus-and it's ample storage space for kid bikes and gear. We spent the last few days on 3 planes, 1 van, 1 "party van" (the only van in the entire town of Aur Claire, MN that could fit us and pick us up so late at night at the town airport, which we were the only people flying into, was a 1970's van decorated with party decals and had in-the-round seating) and now we are squeezed into a car and a minivan. And, to Magnolia's dismay, no bike. Ahh the memories...

Portland soundcheck.

Chicago? Can't remember for sure, but she dodged lots of people on her ride.

One of the many HOBs we played with Santogold.
As this leg of tour winds down, I can't decide if Mags had more fun riding her bike around the country, or at Disneyland (btw Shockingly, I cried at the Disney parade because it was so good, more on that later). Oh how could I have forgotten...actually she had the most fun making music videos at the Zeum in San Francisco. (Or, at least I had the most fun being her backup dancer) Coming soon, Mags video premeire and her day as a Disney princess-a once total barf inducing idea turned magical moment for mushy parents like myself.
