A great on the go, compact "point and shoot" with amazing clarity is the Leica C-Lux (or even better but more costly the D-Lux). They take great pictures, video, phenomenal B&W feature, and fit in your shirt pocket. I have a Nikon D300 and find that most digital SLR's are not conducive for grabbing spontaneous "cute" moments unless you happen to have already set your camera for the current conditions. Unless you're using the automatic setting, and well that is just a waste of money to own a camera like that and use it on auto. Good luck. Can't wait to see the Gabba episode.

P.S. my friends Summerbirds in the Cellar played with you all and had the best things to say about the experience.

I'm glad you liked the Yo Gabba episode! :) My favorite thing about it was the Super Music Friends Show. It was a blast working with you guys! My three year old daughter has watched that segment over and over again. She keeps singing "No one likes to be left out..." it's dang cute. I'll work on getting you guys a great copy of the episode.

I just got home to San Francisco from ACL, and I could not wait to read your entry about it. I'm a devoted fan of your music and your blog. (Reading it makes me feel like I have a leg up on mere casual MoS fans.) This weekend was my first time seeing you live, and I was mightily impressed.

Ok, so I just saw you guys playing the House of Blues in Chicago, and you were ridiculously amazing. I have no idea why you are touring with Santogold though, because her music was so bad that me and my friend left after 2 songs :(

You should definitely move to Chicago though, that would be AWESOME.

WE (my hubby and I) are going to Disneyland in 2 weeks!! We are the masters of Disneyland and love it to death. If you need to be shown around by a couple of Disneyland nuts, we'd love to help!

And your appearance on Yo Gabba Gabba was so freakin' awesome. We were grinning from ear to ear and just dying to hear what your daughter thought!! So so so cool!!!

We loved your set at ACL on Friday evening, although my 3-year-old son was disappointed to miss "Now," due to his parents' poor organizational skills. (He calls it "The Sign Song.")

I caught some of your show today (loved what I heard), but missed quite a bit of it because, well, my six year old had to pee. Love ACL, but the porta potties are not so nice.
