I work at Disneyland, and I'm a huge fan of Mates of State. I wish I could have personally made your day magical, but it seems that was taken care of. I'm so glad that you guys had fun, and I'm glad Disney still has a lot of magic for you. Visit again! If you're ever in town and are worried about getting into the park, I can help. It's the least I can do, your music has been the soundtrack to a few important moments in my life.

I love the one where she's talking to Cinderella. There have been two posts on Babble in the last week about how magical Disney really is. I'm looking forward to when my kid is old enough to enjoy it. My bank account is not looking forward to that time.

My brother, Sister in law, parents, and I took my nieces in May, and as much as I'm pretty much over the whole corporate nastiness, Disneyland IS a really magical place and we had a great day. I was really surprised at myself, thinking "oh my gosh, this place is so fun", and you're right - it's all about the kids.

Also- how awesome is it to get in free? We got in free, too, and it was so nice not to feel like we had to get our money's worth. We had a really great, relaxing day.

i just love reading your blog. this one almost made me cry! i love hearing about how you've grown... from the first time i saw you guys perform in san fran (my little brother david j of novi split opened up for you guys) and then growing into this amazing family.

Awwww, that sounds awesome. I can see what you mean about adults loving it because they get to see their child's reactions. I write that place off pretty often (I prefer six flags magic mountain), but it sounds like it can be a pretty awesome experience!

I love those last two pictures. They both look so wide-eyed and enthralled in the magic, for sure. I guess this is something to look forward to if/when I have a little princess of my own someday. :)
