yikes, that happened to me too, last summer in CT -- my roommate and i suddenly realized that a bat was flying around our living room.

haha this happened to me on a family vacation once, we were staying with friends in pennsylvania and all of us kids were sleeping in the basement and a bat flew in through the fireplace. he was much harder to get out...bats are funny little creatures!

haha, did you learn those bat facts from this american life? i love that episode because the commentator is like, "seriously, i just found this out and it really freaks me out so i'm telling everyone i know." glad you and the girls are safe now!

Oh, man. In the town we used to live in there was a large bat population and our cat used to somehow catch them and then bring them and put them fully alive on our chests in the middle of the night. Many times I woke up to the feeling of tiny claws on my skin. I did not know that they can bite you and you wouldn't even know it! I am very glad not to have rabies!

Bats are often much harder to get out, I"m glad you didn't have too much of an issue! Freaky though!
