Calling the Mad Hatter: A Toadstool Tea Set

Posted by chrisjordan

Throw a tea party for Alice, the Mad Hatter, and the White Rabbit in Wonderland style with this adorable toadstool tea set.

Thirteen-piece glazed ceramic set includes: a lidded teapot, four cups and saucers, creamer and lidded sugar bowl. Fully functional and dishwasher safe.  No need to pretend, go ahead and really drink tea and eat the Queen's tarts.

Each piece in this set is hand made by artist Giana Eden who uses traditional Japanese throwing techniques.  The set is exclusively available at  Mahar Drygoods for $140

I have gotten some wonderful sets at http://www.tealaden.com they don't have any online right now - I called them and they are re-doing their children's tea sets for fall. I think whimsical sets are lovely and creative.
