It's winter sale time at Mini Boden, which means you can find slick European swim trunks (I'm partial to the Giant Lobster print) and other off-season kids' clothes practically for free. Not all sizes or colors are available, but you ought to be able to find something for next summer or for your winter vacation to a warmer clime. (If you are going somewhere warm, don't tell me-- I'm stuck in the Northeast, and it's darn cold here.) The ruffled vest below is a mere $6, marked down 70%.
If you haven't been to the site before, check it out-- Boden offers simple, stylish kid basics with a touch of whimsy. I'm a great fan of the Mini Boden catalog, which is printed in a miniature book and has neither a front nor a back. You can start looking at the exuberant pictures from either cover because halfway through, the book switches from girls' to boys' clothes, and you have to turn it upside down to read the rest. It's fun to read, much like the J. Peterman catalog used to be amusing before Seinfeld.
