The folks over at notNeutral in Los Angeles make some of my favorite stuff for children. Check out the Links Melamine Snack set. There are six pieces (a bowl, cup, plate, tray, spoon and fork) that come in either bright orange and red, or cool blue and green, and it is all dishwasher safe. Because it's made from Melamine it's probably not microwavable, but it's fun and would make a cool gift.
