7 Days of Bath Toys: Alex Toys RubaDub Paint in the Tub

Alex Toys RubaDub Paint in the Tub - $10.30

A little plastic hand is the palette and the soapy paints that go inside allow your bath time Picasso to go to town on your tub. The paints can be a little watery and therefore not likely to be used for actual figure drawing for the advanced artist, but they are great fun for the toddler set who are just realizing they can create a colorful mess without anyone gasping as they get too close to the furniture. While these ‘paints’ washed off easily in our test tubs, they do say to check the tile first; and if you don’t want an oranpurblue stain on your white tile, you might want to heed their advice. Alex toys have a wide variety of bath toys, and we also liked the Draw in a Tub bath crayons (also easily washable) that offer more control and design options. Also we have a very exciting giveaway that takes tub play about five steps further, it’s the Rubadub Pirates of the Tub 38-piece toy set for ages three and up from Alex Toys. Send an email to babblecontest@gmail.com with the subject ‘Pirates of the Tub’ for your chance to win this adventurous play set. - April Peveteaux
