Dream Baby Tells Humidity to Go Suck an Egg

Posted by Aaron Burgess

Dream Baby Dry Egg - Electricity-Free Dehumidifier

Lately, we've been featuring all sorts of baby-friendly gadgets that add humidity to the air, but what if your nursery has the opposite problem and is plagued with too much humidity? Without plugs, batteries or changeable filters, Dream Baby's Dry Egg ($20) sits quietly in its blue holder, sucking wetness from the air until its moisture indicator signals that it's all full up. (At that point, the holder's ear-like side pods go from blue to pink.) To dry out and recharge it, microwave the Dry Egg for 10 minutes at 50 percent power (hooray, poached allergens!), but remember to use oven mitts when you take it out.
