I'm not sure if this mirror-polished, Giovannoni Stefano-designed toaster with bun warmer ($199 from Alessi) actually gets Eggos and hot-dog buns any tastier than a run-of-the-mill Black & Decker toaster might, but cripes, will your bread look awesome popping out of it. And that's really all that matters, right? (I kid!)
Besides the built-in bun-warming rack on top, there's an optional rack for sandwiches that allows you to crisp up your PB&J (though runny ingredients are highly un-recommended) inside the toaster. It's well-designed for smaller spaces (16" long; just under 5" wide and 8" high), and built to last from 18/10 stainless steel.
