Lille Baby: Worth It?

There are slings, there are front-carriers and then there is Lillebaby ($199.99). The baby "EuroTote" seems like a pretty ingenious idea. It fits into car seats and strollers to act as a carrier and bunting bag, enabling a parent to pick up a sleeping child from car or stroller and bring into the house without waking him or her up. It has safety strafts to secure the baby and a semi rigid back that keeps the baby from flopping around. Has anybody ever used it before? Does it really provide the seamless outside-inside transition it promotes? I'm genuinely curious.

I don't know?  Don't they say that you aren't supposed to have anything between your baby and their seat?  I live in Canada and the health nurses are telling us not to put winter coats on babies as this renders the seat straps to loose.  

Seems to me that it'd be more usefull for urban babies who are out of the infant seat, or never had one.

We actually bought one of these (well, we got it for free after the company sent us a used one!).  My husband used it once or twice around the house to tote Alexander around but I never felt comfortable as I felt that the strap was always slipping from my shoulder (I'm 5'1).  It is just sitting in our closet and Alexander is now 5 months old and 18 lbs and too heavy to tote for fun! LOL At some point, I might use it when he is older in his stroller.  Hope this helps.

I live overseas (in Turkey) and this type of carrier is the only thing I see people use over here for infants. I've never used one, but the babies always look so comfy and snuggly when they're carried around in these.
