Antonio D Toothbrush Holder

Posted by Chris Ford

Am I the only person bothered by the fact that regular toothbrush holders don't hold the larger-handled toothbrushes that kids use? Perhaps, but I think I may have found a replacement that can accommodate that Dora toothbrush from Oral-B. The Antonio D Toothbrush Holder from Alessi is a fun, wall mountable figure that holds a cup that is meant to hold your toothbrush. At $56 (on sale) it is still kind of crazy-expensive, but who said Italian design was cheap?

Antonio D Toothbrush Holder by Guido Venturini for Alessi, $56 at Red Lollipop. Also check out the matching Soap Holder for $49.70.

Thank God it's not just me!  I am really bugged by the size of regular toothbrush holders and the size of kids' brushes.  I thought it was just my ocd, but seriously, are we just supposed to lay them on the sink?  Mine are sticking up four inches above the holder.
