7 Days of Getting Crafty: ReadyMade Shrinky Sheets

Posted by Chris Ford

First, a full disclosure. I am pretty much the opposite of anything anyone would call "crafty." I am, however, a big fan of ReadyMade Magazine, and they have all sorts of cool craft ideas for people who would rather gouge their eyes out than "scrapbook." (By the way, when did that become a verb? I missed that memo from the OED.) My favorite are ReadyMade Shrinky Sheets.

Remember Shrinky Dinks from your childhood? It's the same sort of thing, except now you can print them out on your inkjet printer, and then turn them into all kinds of things, like keychains, rings or Christmas tree ornaments. And for $12, it's an activity you can do with the kids that won't shrink your wallet.
