The role of a parent is akin to being the ringmaster of a Ringling Bros. circus. As you juggle the snacks, sippys and nappies, you must also attempt to keep a smile on your face and entertain your audience of one. Having a couple of tricks up your sleeve and in your diaper bag is key to keeping the little one amused without having to endure yet another chorus of Wheels on the Bus. One of my daughters favorite distractions is not the myriad of toys we schlep with us or my repertoire of funny faces, but my keychain.
My keys aren’t just a way to get into the doors in my life, but they have become an entertainment center.
