Black Bling for the Nursery

Posted by Lisa Mulcahy

It’s interesting to see how home haute couture translates into baby’s boudoir. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I’m still trying to figure this one out. Clearly it’s a scaled down (and priced down) reinterpretation of Baccarat’s black Zenith Chandelier, which by the way retails for a jaw-dropping $ 82,800. For 30 bucks maybe it’s worth it to get a baby version.

It might not be made of Baccarat lead crystal and black onyx, but this night light from Tadpole Basics sure has the look. In case you have a traditional streak in you and feel that black isn’t for babies, it’s also available in the more mainstream clear crystal.

$29.99 at Amazon.
