Watch Veggies Grow With Root Viewer Garden

Posted by Heather Kuldell

I look for anything that might give an edge in the constant eat-your-vegetables battle. A friend suggested that if kids see where food comes from, maybe they’ll be more inclined it eat it. I have no idea if that will work, but I’ll give anything a try. The Root Viewer Garden is a trio of plastic test tubes that lets kids see what happens beneath the dirt as they grow a spring onion, carrot and a radish. For $10.95, it’s a pretty cheap experiment.
