Wallpaper that Cures Cookie-Cutter Nurseries

Posted by elizabeth leach

We see so many cookie-cutter nurseries that could be right out of the pbkids catalogue. A room or just a wall with one of these wallpaper patterns would be unique and sophisticated enough to grow with your child. Above and below are four examples of wallpapers that can be purchased without a decorator.

Mod Green Pod’s vinyl-free wallpaper (above) is a great choice. This pattern is “Butterfly Jubilee” in raspberry/ honey.

“Little Whales” by Geoff McFetridge comes in blue and white or grey and white. Purchase it at walnut wallpaper.

Studio Printworks makes a pattern called "Morgen-Stern" that would look fantastic on the ceiling. Of course, you could do the same thing yourself with a stencil.

But this is my favorite, also from Studio Printworks, called “Baa”. Both patterns from Studio Printworks come in about seven different colors.

I love the whales. They are unisex too... perhaps a border along the top of the nursery? Hmm... The quest for nursery decor continues...
