7 Days of Beach Bests: Haba Building Set

Posted by Heather Kuldell

Until your kids develop into proficient swimmers, beaches are sand boxes with more space and less cat crap. Pack accordingly by bringing all the construction equipment your lil people may desire. The Haba Building Set is a good start.

The Haba set includes the essentials -- a shovel and a bucket -- but has a few awesome options like a hard hat and a “caterpillar” digger that has a wheel to leave tire-like imprints along the shoreline. The piece de resistance is the digging claw, a glove that’s hard one side to safely tear through the beach without getting a handful of glass.

The set is available from Mookla.com for $41.99.
