Tootsie Pop Art

Posted by Lisa Mulcahy

Design themes for nurseries, bedrooms and play rooms come and go. But if you keep it classic, it’s easy to create a look that will last. I’m still hooked on vintage signs and advertising so I couldn’t pass up this art collection.

The Grocery Store Series by artist Todd Lim celebrates the best of Americana brands. Reddi-Whip, Hellmann’s, Fluff, my favorite Tootsie Pop, and more, there’s something warm and fuzzy about these prints. Like the smell of home-baked cookies, Lim’s work is comfort food for the home. Because the prints are original and numbered they are pretty pricey at $600. But if you’ve got it, go for it.

I LOVE that site.  I don't see why you couldn't do this your self with the wrappers, a blank canvas and some Modge Podge...not the same but just as effective.
