Discovery Channel’s Shark Week kicks off tonight! It wasn’t a big deal to me when I was able to leave my house at night, but these days it’s something to be excited about. While I won’t be watching the shark attacks with kids, the wee Jacques Cousteaus can share in my love of the predators with a Shark Backpack by Dante Beatrix. The nylon bag is smaller size of 9 inches by 11 1/2 by 5 1/2, which is more comfortable for kids to wear, but it won’t necessarily hold folders and binders. It will, however, nicely hold crayons and smaller doodle pads for sketching any species they may see in person ... at a nice, safe aquarium.
