Contrary to its name, Kicky Pants is not just about pants. No, the multi-item line (pants, dresses, onesies, tops) is about providing incredibly silky baby and toddler clothing, while also being eco-friendly. Kicky Pants clothing is 95% bamboo and 5% Lycra. Bamboo, of course, is a quickly renewable resource that doesn't require any pesticides or herbicides to grow. It is also--for those who have never touched it--superbly soft when spun into fabric. The Kicky Pants fabric itself is very thin, making it feel more like a second skin than an extra bit of clothing. It's hard to imagine baby skin getting a softer cuddle from a fabric. My only hesitation is the washing instructions, which recommend hand washing or washing on the gentle cycle, then laying flat to dry or tumble dry low.
