As a little girl growing up in the late 70s Hello Kitty was a staple in the must have department. There were stickers, sleeping bags, diaries and about almost every back to school item you could imagine. But the one thing I couldn’t imagine then, or now for that matter, is this piece of Kitty bling.
I guess the Pave diamond and pink sapphire Hello Kitty watch, $3,450, from Neiman Marcus plays on nostalgia for all those 70s girls that have grown up and are making some big bucks. Don’t think there are many kids wearing this one. But if I was going to drop that kind of cash on a watch I don’t think it would don any type of cartoon character.
