Sunny's $100 onesie post reminds me of one of my favorite pastimes: Perusing kids clothing made of cashmere. I suppose I may be the odd New York parent-out, but I don't even own a piece of cashmere myself, so I'm certainly a little fluxomed as to its appropriateness for children. And yet, I gawk. Today I'm gawking at this $385 cashmere boys sweater from J.Crew's Crewcuts line, which is not actually swathed in gold, but really should be, for that price. Call me cheap, but that's more money that I plan on spending for my little one's clothing all year long.
