7 Days of Skincare: Au Natural and Oh So Good

Posted by Lisa Mulcahy

After reading some doom and gloom info on the chemicals and preservatives that are in most baby lotions, shampoos and body washes, I was on a mission to find something better. And that something I found also smells like my favorite spa splurge!

It’s amazing, California Baby’s Calming Everyday Lotion, just might be the secret lavender lotion at my top place for pampering (Elements Spa in Vernon, NJ for those of you in the NY/NJ metro area). In reality I doubt it, but needless to say, it smells great and has become a skincare staple for my son … and myself. Aside from the fantastic fragrance it also leaves the skin super soft. And, like its name suggests, within minutes of putting it on my son’s face he does magically calm down. Ah, the beauty of aromatherapy at work.

$12 at Amazon.

If you think the lotion's good, you should try the "overtired and cranky" spray.
