I was lucky enough to have someone knit me a hat from baby alpaca for Devin. Baby alpaca yarn is right up there with cashmere for softness, and it's hypoallergenic and super warm. It's a yarn I can't get enough of. Naturally, Oeuf is doing an excellent job of putting this yarn to good use with this beautifully hand-stitched baby blanket. The 40' by 40' crocheted alpaca blanket (from organic baby alpaca) is no bargain at $180, but it is truly an heirloom.
