Rhino Rampage a Rip-Roaring Riot

Posted by Aaron Burgess

So easy to play, a preschooler could master it, Rhino Rampage also has built-in appeal for slightly older kids -- although, as is typical with this sort of stacking-and-placing chance game, that appeal might be limited to a round or two.

The object is to roll a die and be the first one to move your birds to safety atop the rhino's back. You've got to watch out, though, because when you roll a rhino, it's time to pull the purple beast's tail and send everyone's birds rumbling. If your birds are thrown off the board, it's back to square one.

While there are several small pieces (namely the birds and an eight-sided die) that could present choking hazards, kids older than 3 should have no trouble jumping into Rhino Rampage, and since the game can accommodate from two to four players, the whole family can test their skill on the rhino's back.

$17.99 (normally $26.99) from Amazon.
