First Look: Boon Saucer

Posted by Nicole Feliciano

Though not extraterrestrial, this new stay-put plate from Boon is a heavenly addition to your kitchen.

Dinner can be an action packed event with toddlers around.  To prevent flying peas and projectile pasta, the folks at Boon have just introduced a new plate. Thanks to a grippy bottom, it’s tricky for tiny digits to achieve “lift of” and send this plate into orbit. Boon’s Saucer  ($5.99) features an edgeless design.  The result is good news for your and your floors.

The sleek and contemporary designs come in two color combinations: white/orange and white/pink. Picky eaters take heart.  Boon has the “chicken can’t ever touch the potatoes” crowd covered; the plate has three dividers to keep flavors from seeping into the wrong zone.  Bon appetite!
