Maternity Faves and Raves: To Push Gift or Not to Push Gift?

Posted by elizabeth leach

"Push gifts" get a lot of backlash. I suppose it's the name itself that causes the problems. I agree with the argument that a baby is the best gift a person could receive, so why would you need a "push gift"? I also have no problem receiving jewelry from my hubbie at any time for any reason.

A token of appreciation, something with meaning to remind me of that special day... I love that idea. And you don't have to spend a lot of money. This necklace from Calico Juno Designs is a perfect example.

The above necklace is an A-grade briolette of green amethyst on a sterling silver 18" chain. Choose from a wide selection of beautiful stones to create your own unique necklace. They also have birth stones to make the gift even more personal. Necklace is $52 (an extra $10 for a gold filled chain).

Calico Juno Designs has a large selection of beautiful necklaces, bracelets and earrings for any occasion including "push gifts".

That’s great, I never thought about jewellery like that before.
