Cortney Spillane, of Tangents & Curiosities, carefully handcrafts one-of-a-kind silhouettes of precious little profiles. Each piece is meticulously created from a reclaimed frame, carefully selected background paper and, of course, your offspring’s mug.
Full disclosure: my daughter goes to preschool with the artist’s son. One of the highlights of our recent school auction was the weathered antique doors set up to display silhouettes of each and every child in the school. Every one of them unique, gorgeous, and very very sweet.
