• 7 Days of Kids Rooms: Accessorize with Pillows

  Often it's the accessories that make the room as much as it's the furniture or color scheme. But in a child's room, it's important that the accessories match the young-at-heart aesthetic as much as it is that they match the room.  The blossom tree pillow by Three Sheets to the Wind, available at Elsewares for $68, does both, albeit at a higher than desireable price tag. There are four print colors to choose from and you can choose either white or off-white as a background color. • 7 Days of Kids Rooms: Ikea Loft Bed

  I would have loved, loved, loved my parents if they bought me a lofted bed when I was a kid, and so I really wanted to feature a bunk bed for our 7 Days of Kids Rooms feature. Most attractive looking bunk beds, however, are well above the $1,000 mark, if not above $2,000. Now, I get that it's two beds, but that's a lot of moolah. So I was excited to see that Ikea now has loft bed (not quite a bunk bed, but you could toss a mattress on the floor for sleepover guests, at least), and that it comes in at under $300. Read More...   I'm opening up our 7 Days of Kids Room feature with a potentially controversial choice. This play/seating arrangement has no cutesy animals, no bright colors and no whimsy.
