It pains me to do this, because I really admire what Summit Baby is trying to do here -- not to mention that I like the company's other products (check back later today for better ones!) -- but this 3C Carrier ($89 from the manufacturer) is a classic case of trying to do too many things, and doing them all badly.
The 3 Cs here are "carry, cover and change." As a carrier, the papoose-inspired board support makes it bulky and unwieldy to be worn in the cross-body sling position. The fact that you can flip the top fabric panel over to cover a nursing baby's face is, well, unimpressive. And as for use as a changing pad? Overlooking the fact that it's pretty small for that and needs to be both unzipped and unbuttoned to use it as such, do you really want to change a diaper on the same surface you'll then tote baby around in? Sorry, Summit. This one's a dud.
