• Quick and Easy Baby Stationery

  I still harbor the hopes of creating custom, letterpressed baby announcements. I do. And yet, every day that goes by is another day that I do not one thing to make them happen. So I was intrigued by Shutterfly's new designer baby announcements. (There is the basic announcement section and then there is the newer designer section.) I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and fast they were to create, AND glad to see some of my favorite stationery designers had designs from which to choose: Egg Press and Hello Lucky, with eight designers in all. • Channeling Martha Stewart: Tiered Cupcake Stand

  Though I'm rarely one for the prim food serving device, this whimsical, tiered cupcake stand ($36.95) from Crate & Barrel caught my eye. Seems like the perfect accompaniment to a picture-perfect birthday party (you know, right before all the frosting is smeared all over everybody's faces). It would also do well as the centerpiece at a Valentine's Day party.
