If you or your kid can't tell the hot from the cold on your faucet tap, there's always the Hog Wild temperature controlled faucet light ($21.95). When the water is cold, the stream is lit up blue, when it's hot, it's red. I know I shouldn't like it, but there's a part of me (the part that went to raves?) that finds the idea rather brilliant. Even if you think it's ridiculous, do check out the entire Hog Wild site, which is like one gigantic grab bag of generally useless (but specifically useful) items.
