So, we've been posting all week about ways to be crafty with your kids. But what if you're just too busy to be crafty, you have no crafty relatives, but you still crave the crafty look? There's a Swiss website, Net Granny, that allows you to choose your own grandma, and then specify the size and color of the socks or other items you want your granny to knit. I chose Annelies (center--the spunkiest looking of the bunch) who will knit a pair of socks for 27.50 euro (not cheap!). She's also already working on five pairs of socks. It's like a granny sweatshop without the guilt!
