• Vida's Market in New York

  If you're in New York this weekend, check out Vida's Market, a children's goods fair at St. Ignatius Loyola Church on Saturday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. For $1 admission fee, you get access to vendors with toys, clothes, art, books, baby- and maternity-gear. The $1 includes a chance at a raffle. Vendors include Wooberry dolls (which we wrote about here), Burp Armor and Etsy's Little Girl Pearl.   We've all done it. You have a girl, you buy pink. You can't resist. It's like a sickness. You didn't even like pink all that much before. Then one day it hits you. You can't believe you succumbed to the pressure. You go to her closet and all she has in there to wear is PINK! Well, I have the cure for you. The Antidote to Pink Jumper.   I love the description of this dress almost as much as I love the dress itself.  Having been one of those mothers who suddenly found herself staring at a sea of pink every time I opened the closet I can relate.  Hand made from a beautiful Amy Butler fabric in blues, grays and white. Coordinating polka dot collar and lining accented in blue whipstitch piping. • Hand Made: Modern Christmas Swing Jumper

  Modern, Asian inspired, swing jumper.  The colors are perfect for the holiday season, yet subtle enough that it would not be out of place for wearing the rest of the year.  I love the mix of the Japenese print fabric, with the green striped fabric which co-ordinates with the modern tree, and the salmon colored bodice which co-ordinates with the balls. • Hand Made: Flora and Fauna Jumper

  Japanese inspired prints are featured on this modern jumper.   One little ladybug sits on her own in a sea of olive green ovals. A few cerise birds and burnt salmon polka dots on the side of the dress. The bodice is done in a plain cerise and the coordinating whipstitch piping and buttons bring it all together.
