  • The Babble Review: Body Balms by Least Likely 2 Breed

One of my co-workers looked horrified when these tins of ointment, with quasi-tasteless names like "Bad Ass Booty Balm" and "Mother Effer's Va-J-J Jelly," arrived in our office.  Clearly, this colleague does not receive weekly samples with cutesy names like "Mama's Love Honey Tummy Bunny Rub." I say these products are a refreshing, and very funny, change. The ointments are shipped inside a diaper, which is a little weird, but apparently it's a functional alternative to packing peanuts. Every product has a refreshing, all-natural ingredient list, heavy on the coconut oil, lanolin and beeswax. The texture is pretty much what you'd expect from those ingredients, and the essential-oil scents are delightful: the nipple rub smells of citrus, geranium and cloves, while the diaper balm smells like a bakery. (The Va-J-J jelly will make your nether regions smell like a coconut, which is a personal choice.) Best of all, they're supercheap for all-natural products: only $6 a pop.  Available at LeastLikely2Breed.net.

    Shoe Clues

Each package of Shoe Clues ($2.97 at Amazon) contains three pairs of animal stickers ready to go into your toddler's shoes. When the animals are looking at each other, she's putting her shoes on the right feet. A great way to boost autonomy for just a few bucks.
