Though my baby isn't there yet, I cringe at the idea of him pushing a plastic shopping cart as he learns how to walk. Natural Pod, already a recognized as a source for natural toys, has just released what they call a cart ($149.95), but also suggests it can be a lawnmower, vacuum or cargo truck. I'm guessing your kids will come up with even more ways for it to shape-change. Designed by Natural Pod, it's produced by Silver Fox Woodworking on Vancouver Island. The cart is 100 percent wood, a combo of birch and maple that's been oiled but not painted.
