I have to admit that most "nursing covers" make me want to smack someone. Who wants to feed their baby under a tent? Plus, an experienced breastfeeder can easily nurse her baby without flashing her boob to the world.
But if you must cover up, the Slurp & Burp ($36 from the manufacturer) is absolutely the only way to go, and not just because it's so much fun to say. (It really is. Try it. See?) Rather than being a bulky poncho, it's a sleek sash (that rolls up small for easy transport) with a parting double panel that provides breast coverage without covering up the baby. Very, very clever.
