The representative from Nyko (makers of video game accessories) told me an interesting piece of information. If your family plays an average of 14 hours of Nintendo Wii per week (which is apparently the average for families with a Wii), then over the span of a year you'll be spending around $200 keeping fresh batteries in the controllers. Granted, rechargeable Ninetendo Wii controllers and charging stations are Nyko's biggest product, but it's something to think about when considering getting rechargeable battery system for you Wiimotes.
