I'm a big fan of the absurd. That's why Pencil Thin Mustaches make frequent appearances in our house. They first appeared as party favors, but then we started breaking them out for no reason. Watching TV? Give the kid a mustache to wear. Going grocery shopping? Definitely give the kid a mustache. My boy rocks the 'staches like he grew them himself, which leads to plenty of funny looks and giggles. It's sorta like shopping with a mini-John Waters in the cart.
