Monkeybar Buddies are basically shorts and leggings girls can wear under dresses and skirts so they can swing, hang, sit, and play with abandon. So maybe it is just smart marketing for li'l bike shorts, but you know what? I'll bite. I love that they look like kid clothes, not scaled-down grown-up gear, and the casual way they assume girls want to be active is refreshing and smart and rare. Plus $16 for some cutey-cute shorts in great colors is a sweet deal. I'll befriend this idea.
