If
your child's taste teeters on the brink of where the sidewalk ends,
then Noah's Ark needlepoints and sailboat wallpaper might not be the
best decor choices. Brooklyn artist Daria Tessler's silkscreen prints
can be ever so slightly dark and creepy, but are spot-on for kids with
big imaginations who like a little bit of magic and mystery. They're
not necessarily designated as kids' art, but with a webstore dubbed
Animal Sleep Stories and pieces bearing such child-like titles as "Who
Lives Inside A Cloudberry" and "Bear Magic," it's not too much of a
stretch.
Prices vary, Animal Sleep Collective.
