I love the idea and the look of this toy storage bench from Offi (available at Modern Essentials), but I can't help feeling that they've missed the mark a bit. First of all, you know I'm going to complain that at $199 it should be all wood, none of this "printed fiberboard" nonsense. Second, I worry about that roll-top getting stuck and refusing to move after umpteen toddler slammings up and down, or -- worse -- little fingers getting caught at the end there.
And that's not even addressing the fact that no kid puts their toys away unasked, no matter how cool the toy chest.
