It seems crazy to spend a lot of money on a car seat and then check it at the airport knowing all the abuse it will take. I've had my car seat and stroller returned to me wet and scratched up and probably full of germs. Now I have a brand new Britax and I plan on using it for many years to come. And what about carrying this new gigantic car seat all the way to the gate? It doesn't fit on my stroller anymore. I'm experiencing travel panic.
