a Peter Pan collar. Add a pair of shiny black Mary Janes and the outfit
would be complete.

Available at Oneity for $30 in sizes from 2T - 10 years

Oneity For All: Holiday Wear That Shows You Care

You just really can't go wrong with a timeless looking dress like this. I'm not typically into conservative gear, but it's won me over (you can take the girl out of D.C., but...). The only thing this piece needs to achieve perfection is a Peter Pan-collared blouse, a pair of patent leather shoes and a dress coat.

I just found it on kids' clothing site Oneity (which I found via Design Mom). The site is basically a one-stop classic holiday attire spot for both boys and girls. I'm sold on them because they use straightforward design, good fabric choices (Italian wool, sateen, cotton) and I saw nothing that cost more than $50. Something as sophisticated as this handmade wool jumper would easily run you twice the amount somewhere like J. Crew's Crew Cuts.

The real clincher for me, though, was the do-gooder aspect of shopping the site. Proceeds from purchases help provide food and services to needy villages dotting the globe.

This frock also comes in pink and pale brown (or, "Fawn"). Don't miss pima layette sets for baby and preppy-but-not-pukey argyle vests for boys.

$32, Oneity.
