Someone got a new pair of shoes! And when I refer to someone, I’m talking about the uber-photographed Violet Affleck daughter of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. Since the paparazzi is on ‘bump watch’ high alert with Garner’s pregnancy, we’ll being seeing plenty of pics of the family in the coming months.

Nothing says “relaxing Hawaiian vacation” like being stalked by the paparazzi. America’s sweetheart and mom of 3 ½ year old twins and 14 month old Henry Daniel (pictured above), Julia Roberts was snapped frolicking with her kids while vacationing in paradise. And to better flee from the cameras, Little Henry Daniel is wearing the Issac sandals by See Kai Run ($34). See Kai Run is one of my favorite kid shoe companies. Their shoes always feature “butter soft” leather, a flexible rubber sole and a nice wide “toe box” for wiggle room. Hey, they’re good enough for Julia, they’re good enough for me. See Kai Run: The Smaller Collection

You know what I hate about the footwear company See Kai Run? They don’t make shoes in my size! And now they’re about to launch yet another line of shoes for me to be envious of, the Smaller collection. These soft-soled booties are for babies from 0 to 18 months and feature the same ultra smooth buttery leather as the original but has “a suede sole with non-slip rubber pads for extra protection and traction ideal for crawling and cruising”. Soft and supple, just like your baby’s feet. Pictured above are the (from left to right: Addison, Monica and the Gavin) and the line starts at $32 a pair. The line won’t be available until the beginning of August (online and in stores), but that’s like next week, so you won’t have to wait too long. Check out their site here.

Shoe Envy: Is it Bad that I Want to Dress Like My Toddler?

Here is yet another entry on my ever growing “I wish they made that in my size” list. I am ridiculously envious of these ultra stylish and, what I assume to be, exceedingly comfortable Lola shoes from the marvelous shoe company See Kai Run. If you don’t know them, you should. The leather on the shoes is smooth as butter, the rubber soles are flexible and durable, and they’re the only brand of shoes, that when I put them on my daughter she doesn’t fight me like a wild mare getting their first horseshoes. The dusty rose hue of the Lola is perfect for spring and the elastic strap detailing not only is criss-crossed chicness but they help keep her wigglely feet secured when terrorizing the playground. Now if only I had bound my feet as a child I could’ve gotten a pair myself.
