"Push gifts" get a lot of backlash. I suppose it's the name itself that causes the problems. I agree with the argument that a baby is the best gift a person could receive, so why would you need a "push gift"? I also have no problem receiving jewelry from my hubbie at any time for any reason.

In a field full of yucky mom jewelry, Jennifer Fisher, a former film and television stylist, has done something good. Her designs are sweet and varied, and you can choose your chain and gee-orgeous pendants and get 'em printed with whatever you want. I'm not gonna lie: these are spendy, because these are the real deal. My three-pendant selection with chain came to $1305. But there's more modest versions and maybe your choices would be thriftier than my rose-gold shenanigans. Hey, tell folks you want this as a gift.

I was going to comment that most of these necklaces are shown hanging between boobs that look like they've never known pregnancy, but I just know someone will write to tell me that the model has birthed 14 children.
