Kid's birthday party planning site Peppers and Pollywogs just launched Card Central, which is right up my party-planning alley.

Creating party invitations online is nothing new, but at Card Central has a few cool twists. All the card designs are custom made by up and coming artists like Gina Kurtz Designs, Laura White and my favorite, The Card Bakery. Cool, funky fun designs, not those primary colored cards that scream, "I'm a CHILD!" And instead of ordering the invitations in bulk and having to wait for them, you pay a flat fee for the design and customization of party details. They send you a PDF file of the invite and you can print those puppies out at home to mail. Or you can just email the file out to your potential guests. A big plus for those of us who wait until the very last minute to get our par-tay act together.

The again, maybe I have a wee bit too much time on my hands.
